Aquatic therapy uses the advantages of water to reduce stress on joints and muscles by minimizing the effects of gravity on the body. The emphasis of treatment is to reduce pain, increase mobility and regain function. Diagnoses Treated in Aquatic Therapy Include:

These sessions are done in a heated therapy pool that is specifically designed for rehabilitation.

The Paso Robles offices uses a machine called the Aquatrex for water based therapy. This unit is a functional rehabilitation tool allowing the patient to walk on an underwater treadmill during their treatment or use the water filled tank to do water based exercise. The depth and temperature of the unit can be modified to fit the patient’s needs.
