The American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the National Athletic Trainers Association recommend that high school athletes nationwide have daily access to appropriate medical care. San Luis Sports Therapy is proud to answer this call at schools in our local communities. In cooperation with team physicians, our certified athletic trainers (ATCs) are on-site daily to provide care to over 4,500 athletes at the following high schools:

Athletic Trainers are health care professionals who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses. The athletic trainer prepares and provides coverage of sports practices and games, manages acute and chronic injuries, and coordinates additional care with local physicians and our physical therapy offices. The San Luis Sports Therapy Athletic Training Program also assists with Cal Poly Club Sports teams, and other athletic events within the community.
