Our Team

Julie ButlerClinic Director - PT, DPT, OCS


Julie completed her undergraduate work at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and received both her Masters and Doctorate degrees from Western University of Health Sciences. After spending many years in high school and college running track and then coaching at both levels, Julie enjoys working with athletes to get back to their optimal level.

She has been board certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy since 2004, an accolade that only the top ~3.5% of Physical Therapists in the country have earned.

While not in the clinic, Julie enjoys biking, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Heather HamaguchiPT, DPT


Heather grew up in Northern California, living in San Mateo for most of her life. She moved to the Central Valley, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Health Exercise, and Sports Sciences and a Minor in Biological Sciences in 2016 from the University of the Pacific. Continuing her journey, she moved to Southern California, where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019 from Azusa Pacific University. As a graduate student, Heather had a clinical rotation with San Luis Sports Therapy and is excited to return to the Central Coast to officially join the team! Heather is interested in orthopedics and hopes to enhance her knowledge by pursuing an Orthopedic Residency with the company. Her professional interests also include dance rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, and she is a certified therapist in Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!) exercises. Outside of the clinic, Heather enjoys going to the beach, hiking, dancing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

David JonesPT, DPT


David was raised in Central California, living on a farm in Selma, CA. During his time at Fresno Pacific University, he attained certification in personal training and started a fitness training business called Strategy for Strength. After graduation in 2013, he continued to build the business and attained more certifications including Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement. In 2019, he graduated from Baylor University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Following graduation, David continued his training business and has worked in the field of Physical Therapy until deciding it was time to make the move to the central coast. David is primarily interested in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and intends to continue growing his knowledge in this area. Outside of his professional role, David enjoys physical fitness, building custom cars with his family, and competitive shifter kart racing with Team Visalia CRG.

Alex DalleyPT, DPT


Alex was born and raised in San Luis Obispo. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physiological Sciences from UCLA in 2017 and spent much of her time there interning with the UCLA Football team, where her interest in physical therapy grew. Following graduation from UCLA, Alex worked as a Physical Therapy Aide at Movement for Life’s Atascadero clinic. She then moved to St. Louis, Missouri to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis, which she received in 2021. Alex completed a clinical rotation at the Arroyo Grande clinic as a Physical Therapy Student, and she is excited to come back as part of the team! She has a wide range of interests including orthopedic and sports therapy, but has a special interest in pediatrics as well! Outside of the clinic, Alex enjoys being outside, going on hikes and working out, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.

Steven FloresPTA


Steven grew up in Visalia, CA where he enjoyed doing anything and everything outside. He played baseball for 8 years growing up and played football and wrestled in high school. Steven attended Fresno State for his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and is where he learned to love the phrase GO DOGS! He recently moved to the Central Coast where he still enjoys playing basketball and golf in his free time.
